Hollow fiber membrane
Hollow Fiber Membranes / 中空纤维膜 / Hohlfasermembran / 중공사막
A membrane composed of bundled hollow fibers with diameters of approximately 0.5–1.0 mm, each containing countless micropores. It selectively separates components of mixed gases or mixed volumes.
Water treatment materials, clarification of beverages and pharmaceutical solutions, seawater desalination, hemodialysis, etc.
Manufacturing process
※This process is just one example, and the manufacturing methods vary by company.
In consideration of the downstream spinning process, it is necessary to remove air bubbles during dissolution while ensuring sufficient dispersion of the mixture.
The twin-screw continuous kneader "KRC Kneader" enables degassing while producing uniform and stable products, by the following mechanical characteristics.
Removal of air bubbles by vacuum operation
Dissolution temperature is stabilized by heating the jacketed barrel.
Excellent mixing performance achieved by the self-wiping function of the paddles
Kneading is performed with a uniform residence time distribution (plug flow).
