It is preferable to grind (cut) the polymerized gel in consideration of the efficiency of downstream processes.
The twin-screw continuous kneader "KRC Kneader" can knead the polymerized gel while grinding it, by the following machine characteristics.
High shearing force generated by paddles with small clearances
Excellent mixing performance achieved by the self-wiping function of the paddles
Kneading is performed with a uniform residence time distribution (plug flow).

Uniform agitation is required in a corrosion-resistant vessel while removing the heat of polymerization generated during the reaction. In addition, since the reactants exhibit high adhesion, equipment surfaces with good releasability are required. Furthermore, in consideration of downstream process efficiency, it is preferable to grind (cut) the polymerized gel.
The twin-arm kneader "Batch Kneader" can grind the reacted polymerized gel while suppressing material adhesion, and produce uniform and stable granular gel, by the following machine characteristics.
Agitator blades with excellent corrosion resistance and releasability
Removal of reaction heat by cooling a jacketed barrel
Discharge of the kneaded material by tilting the barrel
